Enel X Romania named Energy Company of the Year

The Enel X Romania team helped 200 households become prosumers and consume energy efficiently, and enabled companies to transform the way they consume energy. Enel X also assisted cities in Romania to modernize public lighting with state-of-the-art LED technology. “We are honored to be awarded in the Energy Company of the Year category and will continue our mission to provide people, communities, institutions and companies with innovative and sustainable technologies," said Enel X Romania General Manager Daniel Ortiz Noval as he accepted the prize from Vice President of Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) Zoltan Nagy-Bege.

Enel was named Technology Provider of the Year at the Energy Awards Gala for introducing Enel X’s Homix smart home solution to the Romanian market. Homix helps users manage heating, security, lighting and all the other devices in the smart home ecosystem, either at home or also remotely. 

The Energy Awards Gala is now in its 11th year, organized by The Diplomat trade magazine. Each edition acts as a dialogue and knowledge sharing information platform dedicated to leaders, companies and managers in the energy industry, giving them the latest updates and fresh perspectives on the transformation of the energy sector. Award winners are chosen from among final nominees by a jury whose members are acknowledged representatives of the business community.
